November box office has been disappointing month as all the movies have underperformed. Maa Oori Polimera 2 and Keeda Cola were the first films released at the beginning of this month. Keeda Cola worked only in the USA and Hyderabad city and did not work in other areas. On the other hand Maa Oori Polimera 2 opened well and did well at the box office and the film was a profitable venture for the buyers.
But usually, sequel films will put massive numbers at the box office. So in this aspect Polimera 2 failed to score big. Karthi’s Japan movie was an outright disaster at the box office. Jigarthanda Double X was also a disaster even with positive reviews.
After that Payal Rajput and Ajay Bhupathi’s Mangalavaaram expected to open huge at the box, but it was opened with okay range numbers and did not take the needed jump and ended up with losses for buyers. Panja Vaishnav Tej’s Aadikesava the latest release became an outright disaster. Kotabommali PS received positive word of mouth but did not take the expected rise over the weekend. But the film is a safe venture for makers as theatricals are valued at just 2Cr.
Re-releases like Shankar Dada MBBS and Adhurs were shockingly turned out as a big loss ventures to the buyers. Overall,
November box office has been disappointing the month as all the movies have underperformed.
Every movie has underperformed in this month. For a few movies, bad word of mouth had resulted in a complete failure. The films with Mixed word of mouth also faced big losses while the movies which got hit talk also failed to put big numbers. One of the main reasons for this is ODI World Cup and usually November is considered to be very dry season for Tollywood. This is the reason no stars will come forward to release their films in this month which has been proved again with this month.
