The release date announcement of Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya has brought massive excitement to Tollywood fans. The industry will witness Balayya vs Chiru clash after 5 years and needless to say both movies are releasing amidst huge buzz. However, with Sankranti 2023 being packed with other movies as well, a small issue with theatres allocation has come up.
As Varasudu, Thunivu, and Kalyanam Kamaneeyam are releasing for Sankranthi, there is a big competition for theatres going on. Varasudu is Dil Raju film and Kalyanam Kamaneeyam is from UV creations. In addition to this, Thunivu also might have Dil Raju involved in making a record release for Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya impossible.
The Balakrishna film only gets the day 1 advantage from day 2 it will also be limited. Even Avatar distributors are asking to hold the screens for Sankranthi. Dhamaka is releasing on 23rd December if the movie gets good talk, then it may also hold few theatres.
The first one to hit the screens for Sankranti 2023 is Ajith’s Thunivu which will be released on 11th January. 12th January will have two releases, Varisu and Veera Simha Reddy. On the 13th, Megastar’s Waltair Veerayya movie will be released.UV Creations’ Kalyanam Kamaneeyam will release on January 14th.
