Sankranthi 2023 is going to be an exciting one for Tollywood. Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya are all set to clash for Sankranti making the festival even more special. What’s more interesting is that both these movies have been bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
The production house initially was not interested in releasing both films at the same time. However, with both Chiru and Balayya refusing to budge from Sankranti release, Mythri had no choice but to green-light Sankranti for both.
Now with Adipurush almost out of the race for Sankranti, Mythri has become quite aggressive with their pre-release business. The production house is likely to finalise the business ratios Soon and they don’t want to compromise anything about it.
They are confident of both Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy performing well. And this is why they have clearly stated that they are in no mood for negotiations or bargaining on their quoted prices. Both these movies star Shruti Haasan in lead roles. While KS Ravindra has directed the Megastar film, Balakrishna’s project is being helmed by Gopichand Malineni.
