Nivetha Thomas & Regina Cassandra’s Saakini Daakini released earlier this month and despite quirky promotions failed to make an impact at the box office. The film opened to poor reviews and ended up as a failure at the box office.
Saakini Daakini is now gearing up for its release on the OTT platform. The film will release on 30th September on Netflix. This action comedy film is a remake of the Korean film Midnight Runners.
The film is a collaboration between Suresh Productions, Guru Films, and Kross Pictures after the success of ‘Oh Baby!’. Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati, and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim are the producers. Sudheer Varma, who is known for his unique subjects directed this film.
Saakini Daakini stars Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra as police trainees who get untangled in complicated situations. How they emerge out of it is what the story follows. The film will be available in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil.
