Nithiin penned an emotional note on social media marking his 19 years in the film industry. It was on this day in 2002 that the ‘Bhishma’ actor made his debut with ‘Jayam. The film went on to become a massive hit with Nithiin grabbing a Filmfare Awards(South) Best Male Debut.

Directed by Teja, the film was a major box-office success and received great critical acclaim. Nithiin went down on a nostalgic trip and thanked his fans for the support. The movie established the then 19 year old actor as one of the bankable young faces in the industry.

On work front, he will be next seen in Maestro, a remake of 2018 Hindi blockbuster, ‘Andhadhun’. Nithiin will be playing a blind pianist in the movie. The role was played by Ayyushman Khurana in the original.
