Nikhil Siddhartha has officially confirmed Karthikeya 3 while revealing that his pan-India film Swayambhu is ready for theatrical release. The actor also shared updates on India House, which has completed 50% of its shoot.
Nikhil Responds to Film Release Discussion
A social media user suggested that the Telugu film industry should release at least two notable films every month. Nikhil responded on X (formerly Twitter), stating that while releasing two notable movies per month would be challenging, he is ready with multiple films in the pipeline.
The actor, currently working on Swayambhu, used the opportunity to share updates on his upcoming lineup, including the much-awaited Karthikeya 3.
Swayambhu Ready for September Release
According to Nikhil Siddhartha, Swayambhu is ready for theatrical release, though he did not announce a specific date. Inside reports suggest the pan-India period action film will hit screens in September 2026.
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, Swayambhu has been in production since 2023 and marks one of Nikhil’s biggest-budget projects. The film has faced multiple postponements due to VFX work, with the team ensuring top-notch production quality.
Karthikeya 3 Script Completed, India House 50% Done
Nikhil confirmed that Karthikeya 3 is officially happening, with the script work already completed. The announcement comes as welcome news for fans of the franchise, following Karthikeya 2’s major commercial success in 2022. The sequel became a sleeper hit and established the mythological-thriller as a bankable franchise.
Meanwhile, India House has completed 50% of its shoot. The pan-India period drama, directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and produced by Ram Charan under V Mega Pictures, features Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupam Kher in lead roles. Set in London during the pre-independence era, the film reunites Nikhil and Anupam Kher after their successful collaboration in Karthikeya 2.
With three major projects in various stages of production, Nikhil Siddhartha is positioned for a strong lineup over the next year, headlined by the imminent release of Swayambhu and the highly anticipated Karthikeya 3.
