Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan became proud parents of twin boys last year. Vignesh Shivan announced of this joyous moment on Instagram with a beautiful photo and announced the names of the twin boys as Uyir and Ulagam. In Tamil, Uyir means life or soul while Ulagam means the world.
The couple has been consciously trying to keep the toddlers away from media glare and covering their faces on social media posts and public appearances. Nayanthara, however, made an exception at the recent Behindwoods Gold Icons 2023 where she spoke about her twin boys and revealed their full names.
The couple has named the boys as Uyir Rudronil N Shivan and Ulag Dhaiveg N Shivan. The announcement was met with thunderous applause from the audience at the venue who were thrilled at the beautiful names.
Nayanthara and Vignesh got married last year at a resort in Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. It was a royal yet low-key event in presence of close friends and family members followed by a lavish wedding reception in Chennai.
