Nayanthara and boyfriend Vignesh Shivan received their first dose of Covid vaccination on Tuesday in Chennai. Vignesh took to his Instagram page to share the photos of him and Nayanthara getting vaccinated. “Please please get vaccinated. Stay safe, stay indoors,” he captioned them.
However, the photo led to a troll army descend on it and call out Nayanthara for just posing for the picture and not actually taking the jab. Many users pointed out that there was no syringe in the pic and that the nurse was just putting pressure on the actress’ shoulder.
Many netizens accused that the actress and her director boyfriend didn’t even get vaccinated and that it was just a photo op.
Nayanthara’s team released a statement trashing all the claims of the trolls and requested everyone to get vaccinated at the earliest. Her team pointed out that the actress did indeed get her vaccination jab.
