Nayanthara, who was last seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee’s action entertainer Jawan also signed for a new film in which she was to be paired up against choreographer and actor Lawrence. Kollywood ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj is the producer of the movie which led to severe expectations. The actress, however, has decided to part ways from the movie and will no longer feature in it.
While the reasons for the actress’ exit are still unknown, the news of her presence in the film surely gave it big publicity. Along with this, the combination created quite some excitement considering Lokesh has written a story to make a film with Lawrence, who makes mass films. The style of the two of them does not match at all. Lokesh films will also have mass elements but with a stylish and fresh touch. Lawrence is known for regular mass or horror comedy thrillers.
The film will be directed by Ratna Kumar, who had formerly worked with Amala Paul in ”Aadai”. Post the exit of Nayanthara from the project, the search for her replacement is on. Lawrence was last seen in Chandramukhi 2 co-starring Kangana Ranaut. The film didn’t match the expectations and turned out to be an average fare at the box-office.
