Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next untitled venture NBK 107 is nearing its completion and the makers are looking at potential release dates. Mythri Movies has suggested a release date of December 23rd or January 1st but Balakrishna has clearly said that he is not okay with these dates.
Balakrishna has stated that the date is Amavasya and January 1st is a Sunday. He is very clear that the film needs to release on the occasion of Pongal only. He has given two dates, either January 12th or January 14th for the release. Now we will have to wait and see how Mythri will handle this.
In addition to this, Mythri will also have to worry about Chiranjeevi’s Walter Veeraiya. Chiranjeevi also wants to occupy a Pongal release date but Balakrishna is not looking to back down. Since both films are from the same production house, it would make no sense for them to clash.
NBK 107 has been written and directed by Gopichand Malineni whereas Walter Veeraiya has been directed by KS Ravindra. Both films star Shruthi Haasan in the lead role.
