OTT giant Amazon Prime Video has officially announced the Naga Chaitanya starrer web series ‘Dootha’ as a part of its lineup for 2022. As many as 25 new shows and web series were announced by Amazon Prime Video. These ‘Amazon Prime Originals’ will release in the 2022-23 period.
Vikram K Kumar will direct this horror-thriller web series and the shooting began last month. This will be a Telugu- Tamil bilingual project and the storyline of this web series was revealed recently and it sounds quite exciting. Naga Chaitanya will play a messenger who speaks directly to spirits and conveys the message to humans.
Chaitu also has an exciting lineup for films up next. He will make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha. This film is an official remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump and will release on 11th August this year.
He will also team up with Vikram Kumar yet again in Thank You. The shoot for this romantic drama has already started and will star Rashi Khanna as well.
The Akkineni actor will also team up with Tamil director Venkat Prabhu up next. The film will be a bilingual one and will release in Tamil and Telugu. Srinivasa Chitturi will produce NC22 under the Sreenivasa Silver Screen banner and will go on floors soon.
