Robinhood starring Nithiin is one of the most awaited films of Tollywood. The film directed by Venky Kudumula is produced by leading Production house, Mythri Movie Makers. The film was also originally slated for release on Christmas but had been postponed to avoid a clash with the Production house’ other film, Pushpa 2.
Pushpa 2 didn’t see big numbers at the box office for Christmas or during the later weekend. Other releases, Bachhala Malli, Viduthalai 2 and Barroz 3D have failed at the box office as well. If Robinhood has been released as per the original scheduled date, the film would have seen big advantage with solo performance. The film wouldn’t have also impacted Pushpa 2 box office prospects since Pushpa 2 has almost not getting big audience.
The Makers should also now plan for a new release date during a holiday season to post good numbers at the box office. Robinhood has definitely missed big opportunity and this is really a bad decision made by Mythri Movie Makers.
