Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy were the big-ticket release for this Sankranti and have managed to set the box office running well. Balakrishna’s film released to his career-best openings while Chiranjeevi’s action entertainer has managed excellent occupancies in all regions.
Both these films have comfortably crossed the $1 million benchmark at the US box office and are doing well in the domestic market.

Mythri Movie Makers have bankrolled both these projects and now they are forced to release collections posters due to fans’ pressure. The Mythri team has released a 108 Cr gross poster for Waltair Veerayya and a 104 Cr gross poster for Veera Simha Reddy.
In reality, both movies have not crossed 100Cr gross. Waltair Veerayya will cross the 100Cr mark today and Veera Simha reddy May take another 2 days to reach this mark.
