A. R. Murugadoss is certainly one of the most prolific directors of Tamil cinema. In a career spanning over three decades, he has directed some of the biggest commercial hits in Kollywood. However, like every other filmmaker, he too had lost the sheen of the craft he once mastered. To put it straight, his last three films underperformed at the box office, leading him to take a three-year-long hiatus from films.
Putting an end to all the speculations regarding his form, he kicked off a project with a formal pooja ceremony on February 14, 2024. Sivakarthikeyan is playing the lead role, while Anirudh Ravichander is signed to compose the film’s music and background score. Rukmini Vasanth, of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello fame, has been roped in as the female lead.
