Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s multistarrer F3 is finally hitting the OTT route. F3 was released in theatres on 27th May and enjoyed a decent theatrical run despite the mixed talk. Anil Ravipudi’s trademark comedy worked with the masses but Dil Raju’s ticket pricing strategy led to the downfall of the film.
As mentioned earlier, the team has stuck to the plan of releasing the movie only after 50 days of its theatrical run. Although F3 did not perform as well as F2, it still held its own ground at the box office. It is now finally releasing not only on one but on two OTT platforms.
F3 is now streaming exclusively on Sony Liv as well as on Netflix. The theatrical response is one thing and the OTT response is a different ballgame altogether. It is more likely that the family audiences will enjoy F3 from the comfort of their homes.
F3 revolves around the concept of money and how it impacts people’s lives. The film also stars Tammannah Bhatia, Mehreen Pirzada, Sunil, Rajendra Prasad, and a deck full of popular comedians. Dil Raju is the producer of the film and DSP has given the music.
