The much awaited film Malikappuram is now streaming in OTT. Malikappuram started streaming on Disney Hot star, which owns the digital rights of the film. The film is streaming in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages. The film was a big blockbuster in its theatrical release.
The film was released in theaters on December 30. The film received a brilliant response from the audience as they liked the performance of the actors, the story, and emotions of the film. Malikappuram is the first film directed by Vishnu Shashishankar, the son of Shashishankar, who is famous for directing films like Kunhikoonan and others.

The film tells us the story of an eight-year-old girl named Shannu (Deva Nandha) wishes to visit Sabarimala, as her favorite deity is Lord Ayyappa. This remains a long unfulfilled dream, despite Shannu asking her father relentlessly. Suddenly, an unfortunate incident takes place, which disturbs Shannu’s family. Shannu, along with her brother Bujji (Sreepath), goes to Sabarimala all by themselves. What happened to the kids in the journey form the rest of the story.
Malikappuram stars Unni Mukundan along with Saiju Kurup, Manoj K Jayan, Ranji Panicker, Ramesh Pisharody and others in pivotal roles. This film has Ranjin Raj as the music director.
