Megastar Chiranjeevi’s God Father movie is having a steady run at the Box Office. The movie was released on October 5th for Dussera Festival. And it received a good response from the audience as well as the critics. Before the release, there were several doubts that whether the movie will match it’s the original version of the Malayalam movie Lucifer or not.
But the director Mohan Raja was successful in making the necessary changes to the Telugu Version. The audience liked the elevation scenes and dialogues of Chiranjeevi. SS Thaman’s background music also got a thunderous response.
Coming to the Box Office, the movie couldn’t get the required theaters due to releasing in competition with The Ghost and Swathimuthyam. That’s why it did not get huge openings at the Box Office.
But because of the positive talk, the movie had an excellent hold and shares of day 2 are more than 70% of day 1 collections. And what’s more interesting is that in a few Centers second day shares are on par with the first day. God Father movie collected 26 crores of worldwide share for two days.
God Father movie’s Theatrical rights are valued at 80 Crores. And to achieve the break-even mark and to be declared a hit, the film should have a big Jump for the weekend and should continue to produce decent collections on the weekdays.
Godfather movie stars Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role and Satyadev, Nayanthara, Samudrakhani, and Murali Sharma in other important roles. Salman Khan played a special guest role. The movie is directed by Mohan Raja and Produced combinedly by R.B. Choudary, and Ram Charan.
