Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is raging a storm at the box office and has now emerged as the Kollywood Industry Hit. The film was released on June 3rd and ever since that day has seen full occupancies and terrific reviews.
Vikram has already crossed Rs 300 crores in 10 days much to the joy of Kollywood fans who saw biggies like Beast, Annaatthe, and Valimai failing to reach expectations.
Now because of Vikram’s golden run at the box office, director Hari, who is known for his mass entertainers has postponed his upcoming film Yaanai’s release. Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar will star in Yaanai which will now release on July 1st. It was earlier scheduled to release on June 17th.
Vikram released was released on almost 800-900 screens in Tamil Nadu and is still holding Housefull shows in the cinema halls. In such a situation, postponing Yaanai seems to be a wise decision.
The team of Yaanai including Arun Vijay and Hari met Kamal Haasan in Chennai yesterday and congratulated him on the terrific success of the film.
