Malayalam blockbuster Manjummel Boys is shattering one record after another. Right after emerging as the new industry hit in Malayalam cinema, Manjummer Boys has breached another massive landmark and joined the 50 crore club in Tamil Nadu.
This is the 6th other language film to join the 50 Cr club in Tamil Nadu. Interestingly, all other films are big-budget projects like Baahubali, Baahubali2, RRR, KGF2, and Avatar2. What is even more surprising and impressive is that Manjummel Boys has joins this club without Tamil dubbing. The movie was released in the Malayalam version only in Tamil Nadu and still managed this feat.
So far, no other film has managed this without a Tamil dub. Interestingly, before Manjummel Boys no other Malayalam collected even 5 Cr gross in Tamil Nadu. This is what makes this milestone so special. Overall worldwide, the movie has grossed around 190 Cr. The Telugu and Hindi version dubbing works are in progress set for release this month. Mythri Movie Makers will be releasing the Telugu version.
