Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his debut film ‘RX100’, is currently doing ‘Mangalavaaram’. The film, billed as a true-blue action thriller with an eventful plot and 30 characters, is going to be a November release.
The creators have pocketed an interesting overseas deal. Rs 1.53 Cr is the cost of the deal clinched with Southern Star International, an overseas distribution house.
Actress Payal Rajput has powered the film, whose teaser has spawned confidence among stakeholders like distributors and exhibitors. The effect of the teaser is being felt on the commerce front.
The film’s music is from Ajaneesh Loknath (already a song titled ‘Ganagana Mogalira’ has hit the stride), known for his work in ‘Kantara’ and ‘Virupaksha’. The film also features Krishna Chaitanya, Nanditha Swetha (as a cop), Shravan Reddy, Ajay Ghosh, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Sri Tej, and Divya Pillai in key roles. A Creative Works (owned by Ajay Bhupathi) and Mudhra Media Works have produced the movie.
