It is widely known that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be working on a high-budget fantasy film under the direction of Bimbisara fame Mallidi Vassishta. There were countless rumors about the film being a sequel to Megastar’s old classic Jagadeka Veeerudu Athiloka Sundari.

Many thought it has references to JVAS, and the doubts raised to further level when the production handle, Vijayanthi Movies announced that only they have all the film’s rights, and no one is authorized to make sequel or prequel to the movie. Mallidi Vassishta cleared all the doubts on Mega156 — Vishwambara.
The young director clarified in a recent interaction with media that the Mega156, Vishwambhara, is unrelated to Jagadeka Veeerudu Athiloka Sundari, and it will be a fresh story setup. He affirmed the film would have Chiranjeevi-style elements in a new backdrop/world. When asked about the film’s shooting plan and release date, the director stated it was too early to discuss.

The movie’s shoot started with other artists, Chiranjeevi joining the sets in January 2024, and Trisha is said to have been finalized as one of the lead heroines. The film is said to have multiple lead heroines. Meanwhile, the mega fans are happy as Mallidi Vassishta cleared all the doubts on Mega156, Vishwambara.
Directed by Mallidi Vassishta, Pramod and Vamsi produced this high-budget fantasy film under the UV Creations banner. From the first look, it is understandable that it will be a socio-fantasy film. The film will be made on a massive budget of RS 200Cr.
Oscar Award winner MM Keeravani is composing the music for the film. The movie started with the recording of a song. Keeravani also said that there will be six songs in the movie. Mallidi Vassishta is directing the film. Sai Madhav Burra is providing the dialogue for the film.
