Premalu which was released on 9th February is running on a sensational note. The 2nd weekend posted a bigger collection than the 1st weekend and the positive talk has helped the film to register great occupancies in every territory.
Premalu has collected more than 40Cr gross in 10 days and is running towards 75Cr gross and is expected to collect much more. The next blockbuster movie is Mammootty’s Bramayugam which was released this Thursday [15th February].
While it is not a regular commercial film, the movie delivered massive numbers on weekends with 32Cr gross in 4 days. Mammootty’s extraordinary performance and the film’s dark theme have managed to impress the audience.
With Premalu and Bramayugam, Mollywood has seen huge blockbusters and both movies will have a solid run for at least 2- 3 weeks. These films have turned a dry period into a golden period for Malayalam cinema.
