The makers of the movie AdiPurush starring Rebel Star Prabhas and Kriti Sanon based on Hindu epic Ramayana, have confirmed that the movie will be releasing next year itself. There were rumors that the movie will be postponed to 2024 and Prabhas movie with Prashanth Neel, Saalar will be releasing before Adipurush.
Putting end to this kind of rumors the producers of the movie have clarified that the release date would be 16th June 2023. As the teaser of this movie has got mixed feedback, the makers taking some more time to improve the visual effects.
This led to the postponement of the release of this movie to a further date from Sankranthi as initially planned.
Advanced technology in film making like animatronics have been used for this movie and the output has been criticized for lacking for the quality. Om Raut, the director of the movie, has clarified it that the final output will meet the audience’s expectations.
The film is being made on high budget of around 500 crores and is eying big on a massive box office success, especially in the North. Prabhas is also enjoying huge craze all over India and hence the best release date is being selected.
Postponing to 2024 would bring down the craze of the movie. Hence, a middle ground is sought here. June is also the perfect time for this kind of movies with universal appeal.
