Adivi Sesh starrer Major has become the latest movie to postpone its release owing to the Covid second wave. The makers of the movie released a statement announcing the decision to defer the release.
“We are living in unprecedented times and we hope you are following all the safety protocols and staying safe. Our film major which was originally scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 2nd July is now postponed for a later date. We will announce a new release date once things are back to normal. Times are tough but so are we,” said the announcement.
The movie’s teaser was released recently and impressed everyone with its slick shots and technical prowess.
The movie takes through the journey of Major Sandeep and his inspiration behind serving the nation. Prakash Raj and Revathy play his parents and from the looks of it, the movie will surely take us through an emotional ride.
Major created quite a lot of buzz ever since it was announced and is being shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, this movie was initially scheduled for a release on 2nd July.
Sony Pictures Releasing International, G Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies are producing this biographical action drama.
