Major And Vikram Theatrical Rights And Breakeven Details

The Indian Film Industry has taken a huge toll due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the last few years. With theatres being shut down and the big films hesitant to push their movie forward on the frontline. But in the previous 6-7 months, the big event films have made a comeback and this time, better than before.

Following this trend, this Friday marks the release of two of the most anticipated Indian films. Both the films offering a different flavour of their own.

Adivi Sesh’s biographical movie based on the heroic life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan is all set to release on June 3rd. Going by the responses to the premiere screenings of Major all over India, Adivi Sesh and the team have a blockbuster in their hands.

The theatrical rights of the Telugu version are valued at 13 crores worldwide. This is an extremely promising movie that has every chance of minting big money at the box office. The trailer and first looks of the film are promising as well.

Coming to the second film, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is also releasing this Friday, June 3rd. Vikram has generated massive hype around it, thanks to the sharply cut trailer and the star power behind the film. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, and a cameo from Suriya.

The theatrical rights of Vikram have been valued at 8 crores in the Telugu states. Going by the advance bookings of the film, it is sure to generate massive moolah at the box office. As film fans, we hope that both the movies do tremendous numbers at the box office and become profitable ventures.
