With Agent and Bhola Shankar, producer Anil Sunkara has experienced the biggest disasters in Tollywood ever and incurred heavy losses. These movies even failed to do good theatrical business resulting in crores of loss for Anil Sunkara. While disasters are common for anyone in the film industry, experiencing two back to back colossal disasters has created massive damage.
Right now, the industry buzz is that Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi who earlier teamed up with Anil Sunkara for Sarileru Neekevvaru will join hands under 14 Reels Entertainment. The film is being planned to be shot in quite a short duration and Anil Ravipudi is ready to complete the film in 3-4 months. It was Mahesh’s Dookudu which gave 14 Reels Entertainment its first blockbuster so both Mahesh and Anil go long back.
If the film works out, it will help Anil Sunkara to come out of financial hurdles; but this needs to be okay with Rajamouli too. Since Mahesh has committed his next with the ace director, the Anil Ravipudi project mustn’t interfere with Rajamouli’s action adventure. If Mahesh gives the green signal to the film, it will be shot from December with plans to wrap it up by next March. We now need to see whether it will materialize finally or not
