Story: Manoj (Ram Nitin) Ashok (Narne Nitin), and Damodar (Sangeet Shobhan) join an engineering college. They become three friends and their group gets a name called MAD. Ashok speaks less and is a bit of an introvert type! He likes Jenny (Anantika Sanil Kumar). Manoj flirts with girls but falls in sincere love with Shruti (Sri Gauri Priya Reddy). An unknown girl writes a letter to Damodar who is strongly convinced that girls do not like him. She talks to him on the phone every day. Who is she? What is the role of Radha (Gopika Udayan) in this story? How did the seniors rag them in college? What is their issue with JC of College? What did they do when they became seniors? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.
Performances: Narne Nitin has done well. His cut-out and style in the action sequences are good. Ram Nithin’s screen presence is very good and he looks perfect fit for lover boy roles. Another hero Sangeet Sobhan’s comedy timing is extra – ordinary and in many scenes he makes us laugh with his superb acting and dialogue delivery. Gowri Priya Reddy is the most registered of the three heroines while the others were ok.

Verdict:
Overall, MAD is an enjoyable entertainer. It does not have much story or seriousness but the fun parts work for most of the part and make it an engaging outing. On the flip side there are a few boring/cliche moments which affect the flow of narrative and a little stress on emotions could have taken it to the next level.
