The weekend is fast approaching yet again and we are back with a list of OTT releases that you cannot miss this week. Grab your favorite snacks, hop onto the couch and get ready.
NETFLIX RELEASES:
Looop Lapeta: A time loop thriller that stars Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles. It is an official adaptation of the cult classic Run Lola Run. When a woman’s boyfriend loses a mobster’s cash, she has to save the day, but the only catch is- She is stuck in a loop. The trailer of the film is also extremely appetizing and it is streaming on Netflix from February 4th in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu as well as English.
AMAZON PRIME RELEASES:
Randu: Yet another gem from the Malayalam Film Industry, Randu is a subtle yet thought-provoking socio-political satire that tells the tale of the breeding hatred between two communities. Randu’s literal translation is ‘two’. It is streaming on Amazon Prime from February 4th.
Reacher Season 1: Reacher is an action thriller series that tells the story of Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator. When he is falsely accused of murder, he must enter normal civilian life and defend himself. The show has been getting a good response from audiences. It is streaming on Amazon Prime from February 4th.
DISNEY+ HOTSTAR RELEASES:
The Great Indian Murder Season 1: A slick Hindi language murder mystery series. The series has received a positive response so far. It is streaming on Disney+Hotstar from February 4th.
ZEE5 RELEASES:
Velan: Velan is a Tamil action drama, directed by debutant director Kavin. The film is a perfect family entertainer to watch with your family on the weekends. It is streaming on ZEE5 from February 4th.
100: A suspense thriller from the Kannada Fim Industry, 100 is a cat and mouse tale between a cop, played brilliantly by veteran actor Ramesh Aravind and a cyberstalker, played by Rachita Ram. It is also streaming on ZEE5 from February 4th. It has been termed as one of the best crime mysteries in a long time.
AHA RELEASES:
Mahesh Babu on Unstoppable With NBK: The season finale of Unstoppable With NBK features Superstar Mahesh Babu as the guest. The promos have been super fun to watch and the full episode will stream on Aha from February 4th.
SONY LIV RELEASES:
Pandrikku Nandri Solli: Pandrikku Nandri Solli is a dark comedy movie from Tamil Nadu. Bala Aran is the director of the film, and it is streaming on Sony Liv from February 4th.
Rocket Boys: Perhaps the most exciting series from the list, Rocket Boys is a story about the greatest geniuses India has produced- J Homi Bhaba, played by a terrific Jim Sarbh and Vikram Sarabhai, played meticulously by Ishvak Singh. You cannot miss this one. It is also streaming from February 4th.
SIMPLY SOUTH RELEASES:
Tamil Rockers: Tamil Rocker is a Tamil language movie based on the notorious online gang Tamil Rockers, who illegally stream movies on their website. It is streaming on the Simply South OTT platform from February 4th.
Meow: A quirky comedy from Malayalam, Meow is also streaming on Simply South from February 5th.
