Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is inching closer and closer to the release and the hype and expectations are only growing day by day. The business of Liger has been phenomenal so far and there is no sign of stopping.

The overseas of rights of Liger have been bought by Sarigama cinemas for a record-breaking 8 crores. This is the highest for a Vijay Deverakonda film and also the highest for a non-star hero-backed movie. It is also the highest in Puri Jagannadh’s long and illustrious career.

There seems to be a lot of positivity around the film and the team is very confident in their product. The trailer launch event also proved to be a massive success and got the fans even more excited. The makers have been constantly releasing promotional content to stay relevant.

The industry has just started reviving again with superb positivity around both Bimbisara and Sita Ramam. Hopefully, Liger also connects with the masses and adds to the revival of the theatrical market.

Liger also stars Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, and Mike Tyson in a cameo appearance. Karan Johar and Puri are jointly producing the film. It releases in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi as well as in Malayalam. It will release in theatres on 25th August.
