Leo Producer paid a huge amount for its Telugu title. It is widely known that the film, Leo Telugu version’s rights have been bought by distributor Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, who has reportedly paid Rs. 26.5 lakhs for the Leo Telugu title to a third party, which includes GST and a registration fee to sort out the issue. Now all issues have been resolved, and the movie will be released on October 19th without any delay.
Before that, following the Hyderabad City Civil Court’s restraining orders to prohibit the screening of actor Vijay’s much-awaited movie Leo on October 19 in the Telugu States,
Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, who bought the Telugu rights to it, responded by saying that the issue will be resolved peacefully and the Telugu version will be released in the Telugu States as per the schedule.
In an interview with reporters on Tuesday, producer Naga Vamsi, who took over distribution rights for ‘Leo’ in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, expressed optimism that audiences would be entertained in theaters until Dasara. “At noon today, there was a slight miscommunication when someone came to the court instead of us. He claimed that the title Leo was already registered in Vijayawada. We have identified the problem, and it is being resolved in an amicable manner. The film’s title has been registered, and it has also been censored. We have both decided to resolve the problem because the person who registered it should not be at a loss, and the film should arrive in theaters on schedule.” He stated that the Telugu version of Leo will be released without any additional obstacles.
