Leo in the 600Cr club? Looks like there is no chance for this to become the truth. There is no chance that Leo, the latest film of Thalapathy Vijay, will fall flat before the target of Rs 600 Crores. It is widely known that Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action thriller was released on October 19th and became a massive blockbuster despite receiving a mixed response on day 1.
Till now, only two Kollywood films have joined the 600Cr Club. The first one is 2 Point 0, and the second is Jailer. It is noteworthy to mention that both movies belong to Rajinikanth. Looking at Leo’s 1st week trending, everyone thought it would join the 600Cr Club and would even be able to beat Jailer’s records.
But the film dropped after festival days everywhere and picked up again for the 2nd weekend. So, after that, everyone thought there was a 50-50 chance for Vijay to join the 600Cr club and no chance of beating Jailer’s records.
But after the 2nd weekend, the movie completely crashed at the box office, and currently, Leo’s Gross is around 555Cr. So, there is no chance the film will join the 600Cr club even if it has a massive 3rd weekend. It will most likely end up around 575Cr because now the 90% of its revenue should come from TN only and getting more than 20Cr in Tamil Nadu is impossible going by the trend. So, there is no chance for the film Leo to join the 600 Cr Club.
