However, despite it performing well, Leo has no chance to surpass Jailer’s records in Telugu states and Karnataka
Even before the release of the film, the interesting battle in trade and people was whether Leo will be able to beat the Jailer’s numbers are not. As of now, the mixed word of mouth is not affecting much bigger on Leo in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Overseas, but it is heavily impacted in Telugu states and Karnataka.
In Telugu states, the film opened with 15Cr gross and on the second day it gathered more than 5Cr gross. In Karnataka as well, on the first day Leo opened with 13Cr+ gross and on the second day it saw a drastic drop to 4Cr, and it looks like the same trend will be continued further because the advance bookings for the film on today and tomorrow are not that great.
In these two territories, Jailer did massive numbers. In Telugu states, Jailer collected 86Cr gross and In Karnataka collected 71Cr gross. So Leo has no chance to surpass Jailer’s records in Telugu states and Karnataka.
