The film, Leo, is unstoppable at the box office and surpasses 200Cr mark in just 2 days itself which is the fastest ever record for Kollywood. On day 2, In Tamil Nadu the movie had collected 25Cr+ gross which is bigger than the recent big film Jailer’s opening day. The Kerala gross is in the range of 6Cr, Karnataka Gross is in the range of 4Cr.
In Telugu states, the gross of Leo will be in the range of 5-5.5 Cr. The rest of India will be in the range of 3Cr. Total all India collection of Leo on day 2 will be close to 44Cr, which is a sensational feat. Even in Overseas, the film is said to have holding well. On 1st day, the movie has collected 148Cr gross worldwide and 2nd day India gross is 44Cr. Overseas is expected to be in the 30Cr range, which takes the total 2 days gross to 220Cr+.
The movie was enhanced by the background score of Anirudh and Lokesh’s presence in the action sequences. Vijay’s unique characterization, which is a departure from his usual mass indomitable image, was also refreshing to watch. The makers are aiming to maintain the momentum, as the weekend and Dusshera are expected to attract a large audience.
