Kartikeya Gummadikonda’s latest film, Bedurulanka 2012, was released in theaters on August 25th and turned out to be a profitable venture for all the parties involved with the film. The audiences liked the way the film told a message with a funny narrative. After 4 weeks from its theatrical release, Bedurulanka 2012 is now streaming on OTT. The viewers can watch it on the most popular OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video.
Director Clax made his debut with the film. The film tells us about Shiva, (Kartikeya) works as a VFX artist in a graphics company, and quits his job because of a small issue and comes back to his village, Bedurulanka where he sees the fear of doomsday in the people of his village. Bhushanam (Ajay Ghosh), Brahmam (Srikanth Iyengar) and Daniel (Ram Prasad) try to cash the fear of people about the world ending and make money out of it. The rest of the story is all about how Shiva thrashes the plans of the baddies and marries his love interest (Neha Shetty) as well. Let’s wait and watch how it will be the response to Bedurulanka 2012 upon its OTT release.
Renowned musician Mani Sharma has scored the music for Bedurulanka and the songs and background score given by him for the film were superb. The background score had received special appreciation. The dramedy also has Satya, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Ajay Ghosh, Srikanth Aiyengar, Goparaju Ramana, Vennela Kishore (he is a news presenter along with ‘Getup’ Srinu) and LB Sriram in important roles.
Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni, who has previously made the National Award-winning ‘Color Photo’, is the producer of this film, which is presented by C Yuvaraju.
