The Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha starrer Kushi released today, and the audience’s talk and reviews came quite in favor of the film. Coming to the box office performance, the film had average openings in the Telugu states during the morning shows, but it picked up the momentum with the evening shows. On the whole, Kushi film’s 1st day worldwide collections are decent.
Kushi opened extraordinarily well in Overseas with around $1.1 Million and the film also had a good opening in Nizam with a 5.1Cr share. However, in Andhra, the film performed just in okay range and in Ceeded area, the numbers were poor. In Andhra Pradesh, the movie has collected around 4.8Cr share and the Total Telugu states opening will be in the range of 10Cr.
Overall, the film, Kushi’s 1St day worldwide Telugu version’s share will be in the range of 15Cr which includes GST. Overall, it can be said as a decent opening, and we will need to wait and see how the film will perform over the weekend.
Malayalam music director Hesham Abdul Wahab has scored the music for the film. Kushi also has Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. Kushi is a pan-India release with it hitting the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
