KTR praised Balagam movie in assembly

Comedian Venu Yeldandi’s first directorial, Balagam, proved to be a resounding success in theaters and OTT. Starring Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyan Ram, the film had attracted massive crowds to the theaters thanks to superb word of mouth. The film had even won over 100 international awards, now Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, the minister of IT in Telangana mentioned the film in the assembly and praised it to the next level.

KTR said that the film Balagam made by Yellldandi Venu from Sircilla constituency was excellent and the way the relationships and family attachments were shown in the film has made everyone teary-eyed and the film shows the nature of the village along with the emotions. He was speaking during a discussion on rural and urban progress in the Telangana Assembly on Saturday. He also stated that the entire shooting of the film took place at Kona Raopeta in Vemulawada constituency.

Dil Raju Productions, the banner which produced Balagam movie, took to its official twitter handle and shared the video where KTR can be seen praising the film. Truly, it will be a very happiest moment for the makers of the film.

KTR said that he had watched the film along with his family members and the village nature was seen in the film. He said that his family members who have seen the film had asked him whether the village shown in the film is really the Telangana village Kona Raopeta or it is Konaseema from Andhra Pradesh.

“KCR has developed Telangana villages to such a level. The villages of Telangana have become like Konaseema. On this occasion, KTR displayed photos of various villages in Telangana in the Assembly. In every village, there will be a village nature park, dump yard, Mission Kakatiya tank, Mission Bhagiratha tanks and Vaikuntha Dhama.” If you take a photo of any village, you will see all this, KTR explained in the assembly.
