Gautam Tinnanuri and Vijay Deverakonda’s spy action drama, Kingdom, was announced to be released on May 30, 2025. But the film has been postponed. Kingdom moves to July, and the makers have now officially announced the new release date: July 4, 2025.
There are multiple rumors regarding the film’s delay. Some also point out that music director Anirudh is taking time to give the music, while it is also heard that the film’s editing is taking more time than expected. However, the makers released an official statement, as Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom moves to July.

“We explored every possibility to stick to the original date, but recent unforeseen events in the country and the current atmosphere have made it difficult for us to move forward with promotions or celebrations. We believe this decision will help us present the kingdom in the best possible way, with the creative excellence and spirit it deserves. We truly value your support and hope to receive your love when we meet you at the cinemas on July 4.”
Kingdom moves to July 4th: Thammudu to get postponed
They further added, “We’re grateful to Dil Raju garu and Nithiin garu for their understanding and support in making this change possible.” The film Kingdom will coincide with the release of Nithiin’s Thammudu because of the postponement, and the film will look for a new date with this latest development.
Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead in the film. Kingdom is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
