The Traitors has arrived in Telugu. The popular reality game show is now streaming on Prime Video as The Traitors Telugu, and it marks a big first for Teja Sajja. The Hanu-Man star makes his hosting debut with the show, stepping into a completely new role away from the big screen.
New episodes will stream every Thursday at 12 PM on Prime Video.
Teja Sajja’s First Hosting Gig
This is the first time Teja Sajja is hosting a show of any kind. After becoming a pan-India name with Hanu-Man and following it up with Mirai, the young star is now trying something different. Hosting a reality show needs a mix of charm, control and screen presence, and Teja’s easy-going personality makes him an interesting choice for the format.
Prime Video is presenting him as the “Superhero” host, a nod to his superhero image from Hanu-Man.
What Is The Traitors?
The Traitors is one of the most popular reality game show formats in the world, with hit versions in the UK, the US and several other countries. Prime Video also brought a Hindi version to India in 2025.
The game is built on trust and betrayal. A group of contestants come together, and a few of them are secretly chosen as “Traitors”. The rest are the “Faithfuls”. The Traitors quietly eliminate the Faithfuls one by one, while the Faithfuls work together to find out who the Traitors are and vote them out. Contestants also take part in tasks to build a prize pool.
The catch is that no one knows who to trust. Friendships, alliances and lies decide who survives till the end and who walks away with the prize.
Why It Could Work in Telugu
Telugu audiences have always loved reality shows, with Bigg Boss Telugu running successfully for ten seasons. The Traitors offers something different: instead of living together for months, it focuses on strategy, suspicion and mind games. With twists in every episode, the format is built for weekly binge-watching.
How to Watch
