Rocking Star Yash’s KGF 2 Telugu made its world television premiere on August 21st and the numbers aren’t as per expectations. The film made its way to the small screen on Zee Telugu and it was expected that the TRP ratings would rival Tollywood biggies.
KGF 2 Telugu registered a lackluster TRP of just 9.15 which in no way is a reflection of the blockbuster performance few months ago.
This Prashanth Neel project created a big record theatrically which only 3 Indian films have done so far. It crossed the Rs 1000 crores benchmark at the box office. Only Bahubali 2, Dangal, and RRR have achieved this so far and it is indeed a massive moment for the entire team.
It also became the first film to gross Rs 100 crores + in four languages. This Yash starrer has managed to hit the Rs 100 crore gross mark in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. No other film has ever done something like this.
The film featured Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Sreenidhi Shetty in lead roles. Ravi Basrur composed rocking tunes for this action thriller.
