KGF franchise has been the most successful film franchises in India along with Baahubali. The cultural impact created by this Yash starter has been massive and brought Prashanth Neel huge stardom and demand across industries. Along with Neel, composer Ravi Basrur’s soundtrack was also a massive success and became a smash hit.

The success of KGF songs made Indian National Congress use the tunes for a segment of Rahul Gandhi’s ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra. Because of the unlicensed usage of KGF tunes, the makers of the film have now filed a case over copyright infringement against Rahul Gandhi and his party.

MRT Music holds the rights to the movie’s soundtrack and they found the usage of KGF music for a political purpose unwarranted and have taken the legal route. ‘Ranadheera’ song from the 2nd part of Yash starter was used along with Rahul Gandhi’s visuals.
