Rocking Star Yash’s KGF 2 is reportedly looking for a new release date. The movie has seen a number of delays in the release date and as per the latest announcement, it’s scheduled to be out on July 16. However, that too looks unlikely.
KGF, which was a massive success of 2018 had set heavy expectations on its sequel and it was supposed to release on October 2020. However, multiple delays in the shoot due to Covid and technical reasons have pushed it further. Now, there’s a talk that the film will release on October 13 this year. This date happens to be the tentative release date of another biggie, RRR.
Incidentally, RRR is also facing multiple delays and might not come out in October this year. This means the slot might be free for KGF 2 to go for a release without any issue.
An official confirmation on the same is awaited and it needs to be seen when these most anticipated films release.
KGF 2 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sreenidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj in key roles. The movie is produced by Vijay Kirangadur’s Hombale Films banner. Ravi Basrur is composing the music for the second installation as well.
