Keerthy Suresh who made her Tollywood debut in 2016 with Nenu Sailaja has surprised by her performance in Mahanati. Mahanati was well received by both Telugu and Tamil audiences. This film has even brought National Award for Keerthy Suresh’s performance.
After a gap, Keerthy Suresh is now coming up with a multilingual film Penguin which will be streaming directly on Amazon Prime Video from 29th June. When Keerthy Suresh asked about her role in Penguin she replied that she is playing a mom role in this physiological thriller where she has a scope to exhibit different emotions. When she was asked about the reason for taking a long gap after a huge blockbuster she said that she rejected nearly 20 women-centric films and going on with good characters. Now she is having a couple of films like Nithin’s Rangde, Miss India and a few more. She also said that she is ready to cut down her remuneration up to 30% due to this pandemic situation.
