Karthi has chosen to contribute Rs 1 crore for particular critical needs as he prepares to release his 25th film, ‘Japan.’ Karthi has contributed Rs. 1 crore to make his 25th film memorable, with each of Rs 25 lakhs going to social activists, government schools, hospitals, and feeding the less fortunate.
Karthi donated 1 crore for his landmark film Japan, giving each 1 Lakh to 25 social activists, 1L each to the 25 needy schools, 1L each to 25 hospitals, and the remaining amount to serve food to 25,000 people for 25 days.
The grand audio launch of ‘Japan’ was conducted in Chennai on October 28, and the event, which was attended by Suriya, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vishal, Jayam Ravi, Arya, Tamannaah, and numerous other celebs, boosted the film’s buzz. Karthi made a dazzling entrance in a black suit and fashionable eyeglasses, and it was the actor’s first major audio launch. Fans went ecstatic when they saw the real-life brothers Suriya and Karthi together, and the participation of other celebrities made the occasion even more memorable.
‘Japan,’ directed by Raju Murugan, stars Karthi and Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, Bava Chelladurai, Koushik Mahata, and Vagai Chandrasekar. The soundtrack is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who is working on his fourth film with Karthi. The creators presented the trailer for the heist thriller following the audio launch, and it has raised hopes for the film. Karthi will play a hitherto unseen character in his 25th film, set to be released on November 10 for Diwali.
