Kangana Ranaut made her return to the big screen in the movie ‘Tejas,’ in which she portrays the character Tejas Gill, an air force officer. The film was released on October 27, and as the Day 2 box office figures reveal, it appears that the movie is struggling to even sustain at the box office and will be a massive disaster.
The movie opened with disastrous numbers by collecting 1.25Cr nett on opening day and did not pick up on day 2. It posted the numbers in the same range of 1.2 – 1.25 Cr and today’s collections have been much worse than yesterday with trade circle’s estimates being in the range of around 1Cr nett. The movie will not see the double-digit collection in its complete run as well. Overall, it is a colossal disaster at the box office and Kangana Ranaut’s another big failure at the box office.
‘Tejas’ was written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Besides Kangana, it also stars Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vishak Nair, Kashyap Shangari, Sunit Tandon, Rio Kapadia, Mohan Agashe and Mushtaq Kak.
