Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency is now streaming on Netflix

A few days ago, the Bollywood media reported that the film would be released on OTT on March 17. Now, the digital release of this political drama has been moved up to March 14 instead. Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency is now streaming on OTT; the popular platform Netflix has bagged the film’s digital rights and added the film to its library.

Produced under the banner of Manikarnika Films and Zee Studios, the film was also directed by Kangana Ranaut, and it was released in theaters on January 17. However, it failed to impress audiences, and only a few critics praised the performance of Kangana.

Emergency Story/Synopsis:

The official synopsis of the film on Netflix states, “The dramatic portrayal of the Emergency era in India explores Indira Gandhi’s leadership, political oppression, and the resulting societal upheaval.” The ensemble cast of Emergency also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, the late Satish Kaushik, and Darshan Pandya.
