We all know how the Kamal Haasan movie ‘Vikram’ has created a sensation at the box office. The way this movie was canned stylishly by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the performances of Kamal Haasan, Surya who played a terrific cameo role along with actors like Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Fazil in prominent roles made the audience addicted to this movie.
However, this movie could not entertain the audience on the small screen. Vikram movie registered a very low TRP rating of 4.42 on its first television premiere which shocked everyone. Surprisingly Vikram was well received in the OTT release.
Actor Vijay’s Beast, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, and Sivakarthikeyan’s DON were among the Tamil premieres and Beast has now emerged with the highest TRP among this list.
Beast was also the highest-viewed Diwali movie overall on Tamil TV channels this year. Notably, Ajith’s Viswasam continued its High-TRP streak this Diwali as well, and the movie even surpassed new film premieres in terms of this viewership which is astonishing.
