The much awaited Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj hit the screens recently on June 3 and has been receiving amazing response from the audience. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, who been around the world promoting the film has now thanked the audience and everyone involved in the making of the film for it’s success. In a video post through his social networking page, Kamal Haasan said, The fans of Telugu cinema have never missed to appreciate good, quality films, including talented and quality actors as well. We are privileged that the audience have chosen ‘Vikram’ as well in that list.
It is only correct that the appreciation is split among everyone involved in the film, including Anirudh, Girish Gangadharan, editor Philomin Raj, Anbariv, Sathish Kumar and all the others, he added. Actor Suriya, who came only for the last few minutes of the film and made the fans go crazy, did it only for the love he has. I am hoping to show my gratitude in the film that we are planning to do together next, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Chemban Vinod and the powerful cast of the film is one of the main reasons for the film’s success. The love that director Lokesh Kanagaraj has on me and and on cinema was evident on each day of film making and in each frame of the film as well. The fan’s love is also exactly the same way.
