Indian 2, Kamal Haasan and Shankar have revived this project, which was put on hold after a fatal accident on the film’s set, killing three team members. Later, the film’s progress was stifled by the pandemic. Yet, the makers of the film seem to be continued their decision to make the film. The film has gone through some changes concerning the technical crew and cast too.
The film is said to be revolved around the Senapathy character. In the first part Indian, the film has a flashback for Senapathy in the backdrop of Indian Freedom movement and according to the reports in the Indian 2, there will be a powerful flashback for Senapathy’s father which will be played by none other than Kamal Haasan.
Indian 2 will display the backdrop of Senapathy and how his dad lived and inspired him to get into the freedom fight and further on the other side the film will too have the present timeline scenes which show up the corruption things in the society.
Indian 2 will certainly have a massive hype and craze around it. Being a sequel is its first advantage, and further the combination of Shankar and Kamal Haasan will take it to another level.
Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, which distributed Kamal Haasan’s latest release, Vikram, has again teamed up with the actor for Indian 2. While the film will be produced by Lyca Productions, Red Giant will be co producing and distributing it across the state.
Other than Kamal Haasan, the film also has Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed the brilliant album for Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, will work on Indian 2 too.
