The inside reports strongly suggest that the famous OTT platform, Netflix, has acquired the post theatrical digital rights for an astonishing amount of Rs 125 crores. This is truly an outstanding deal, signed by Kamal Haasan’s production company, Kamal International Films, showcases the film’s craze and this is one of the biggest deals for a Tamil film’s digital rights.
Kamal Haasan has teamed up with H Vinoth to make a film after Indian 2. The actor-filmmaker took to his social media accounts recently to confirm the news with a promo video. The movie is tentatively titled KH233, marking the 233rd film in Haasan’s career. The film will be bankrolled by the actor’s production house, Raaj Kamal Films International and Turmeric Media.
KH233’s promo has Haasan’s silhouette holding a torch. It is noteworthy that the electric torch is the symbol of its political party, Makkal Needhi Maiam. The video hints that the film will be a political drama. The tagline of the movie reads, “Rise to rule”, also reinforces the same. However, the makers have not yet revealed any more details of the film.
Earlier, it was assumed that Pa Ranjith will team up with Kamal Haasan for a film. But the film seems to have been put on hold. After the film with H Vinoth, Kamal Haasan will team up with Mani Ratnam for KH234, which has music by AR Rahman.
