He gifted a luxury car to director Lokesh Kanagaraj after the success of Vikram, and now, he has gifted a luxury watch to director Shankar after watching some important scenes from their upcoming biggie, Indian 2. Kamal took Twitter to share a photo with Shankar and appreciated him for the heights he achieved in his line of work with the Indian sequel.
Kamal wrote “I watched the important scenes of ‘Indian 2’ today. My best wishes to Shankar. My advice is that this should not be your peak. Because this is the highest stage of your artistic life. Don’t take this to the top and be proud. In search of many new heights.”
Shankar quoted Kamal’s tweet and said “My heart is filled with gratitude and joy sir. I will never stop giving it my best! And needless to say, your performance and presence brought an essential essence to the film. Thank you for the token to commemorate this very special moment. The watch Kamal Haasan gifted is made by the luxury brand Panerai. The starting price of the watches from the brand is more than Rs 4 lakhs.
Kamal recently joined the cast of Prabhas’ Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin. The film, which also stars Big B Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, has grown into a much bigger one with Kamal’s inclusion. The versatile actor will apparently play the antagonist role in the movie.
After Indian 2’s release, Kamal Haasan will be teaming up with Mani Ratnam for a film, which will have music by AR Rahman. The rumors also suggest that he is planning to team up with Pa Ranjith.
